A unique and distinctive feature of the Humanities M.A. program is the practicum component. Students spend 100 hours over 10 weeks in an organizational milieu which tangibly demonstrates the interconnection of interpretation and values in our society. Students present their theories at the year-end Colloquium.

Practicum Essay Criteria Since 2005, the Humanities MA Council has established a new policy for publication of the practicum essay on line. 'Faculty-Refereed Graduate Student Conference Publication' are only essays which have been evaluated by the Selection Committee are published in full; other essays are available through the Humanities MA office.
