Starting February 1st, and until further notice, the Opening hours of the archives will be on Thursdays and Fridays only from 9 am to 4:00 pm, closed from noon to 1 pm.

Located on the first floor of the library, "the Archives" houses seven special collections of publications and the holdings of the institutional fonds and of organizations and individuals from the Northern Ontario community.

If your inquiry pertains to the opening hours of the special collections, ( Regional, Faculty, Rare Books, Essays and Thesis), they are accessible on Thursday - Friday, between 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Please be advised that an appointment is required prior to your visit to the Archives for all search requests concerning archival fonds. All the collections that are located in the archives are accessible to everyone. All materials must be consulted within the archives reading room and cannot be taken out.
Note that appointments for archival fonds ( but not for special collections) may only be scheduled on Thursdays and Fridays.
